What to Bring

What to bring

Comfy clothes - the average temperature will be warm (hi 70's to mid 80's) somewhat humid and cooler at night. We will have activity filled days and no real need for dressing up. Bring light sweaters or a jacket for cooler evenings.

Wet weather gear - We will be in a tropical rainforest environment so a lightweight, waterproof jacket is reccomended.(umbrella optional)

Fitness clothing - Bring clothes that allow for stretching and bending.

Yoga Mat - Yoga mats will be provided however, each person can bring their personal yoga mat if they prefer.

Swimwear & water shoes - We have pools for swimming and exercising, as well as the mineral hot springs to explore.

Beach towel - A full size beach towel would be very handy for yoga classes as well as swimming.

Insect repellant - highly reccomended

Hiking boots - Lightweight with good traction are best. There will be lot's of oppurtunity for walking and hiking.

Waist Pack - (aka fanny pack) to carry your water bottle and personal items.

Camera - Almost a must-have item. There will be beautiful photo-ops around every corner. We will have a web share-site for sharing our memories.

Binoculars - Bring them if you have them for enjoying the wildlife.

Personal CD player w/ headphones - We will provide a selection of meditation, empowerment and music cd's.

Tissues - I find that carrying small packets of Kleenex, hand wipes and hand sanitizer come in very handy for the occasional under-maintained restroom. (really, how happy you will be to have these items in your purse at all times.)

Hairdryer - If you use a blowdryer you will want to bring yours. The outlets are the same as inthe US.

Open Attitude & Open Heart -

of course these things serve you well in all your travels.

Don't bring

Valuables - Please leave valuable jewelry and accesories at home. The emphasis will be on casual the entire journey and we will not be able to moniter your luggage at all times.

Cigarettes - There is a strict no smoking policy on the property. If you must smoke you will need to go off property to do so.

$Colones - The currency in Costa Rica is the colon. You may exchange US dollars for colones at the lodge where we are staying at a better rate than in the US banks. You may use your credit cards and bank cards at the ATM's to aquire cash if you prefer. Don't forget your pin numbers. (even for credit cards)
